Anton Arnsteiner started Blizzard in 1945 after returning home from the Second World War. After years of trial and error the Blizzard name was registered and in 1954 Blizzard became the first manufacturer to mass produce ski with a polyethylene ski base.
Throughout the years, and with the help of countless athlete’s, Blizzard has become one of the most decorated skis brands in the world amazing countless FIS Alpine World Cup wins, Olympic medals and most recently a Freeride World Tour title.
They make a variety of models for both men and women. Their most popular models being the Blizzard Black Pearl or Blizzard Sheeva for women and the Blizzard Rustler or Blizzard Anomaly for men. They also offer a great selection of gear for kids and youth sharing the same Sheeva and Rustler model names.
